James Braddock overcame tremendous odds to become a heavyweight champion. Now his story must do the same. Madagascar climbed from second to first place at the box office, while Sith slid to third. DreamWorks Cinderella Man, the Russell Crowe film about the Depression-era boxer, was roughed up at the box office this weekend, taking in $18.6 million, according to studio estimates from Nielsen EDI.
