Jackie Chan was in the city to promote his much-talked-about film, The Myth, also starring Mallika Sherawat. Director Stanley Tong and the other producers were present at the media meet, organised by UTV. Jackie was glad to see so many people, and thanked the Indian media for their support. The actor also donated money to Mira Nair’s Salaam Balak Trust, for Mumbai’s street kids.“I remember a year back, when I was down here in India, Mallika and Ronnie took me around… I love India. It’s great to work with Mallika, and I am looking forward to working with others in the Indian film industry,” said Jackie, who was in a white suit, while gorgeous Mallika wore a teal-coloured sari. “It’s an honour to work with Jackie Chan — he is my hero,” she said.
