Seriously ill former footballer George Best has deteriorated slightly and is back on a ventilator and suffering internal bleeding, his doctor said on Wednesday. "He remains very ill," Professor Roger Williams told reporters outside the private Cromwell Hospital in London. "There is a bit of a problem with bleeding. The loss of blood ... is a worry." The former Manchester United winger, who has had an alcohol problem for much of his adult life, has been in hospital since the beginning of October and was put on a life support machine last Friday after he picked up a lung infection.
