VICTORIA'S Attorney-General Rob Hulls will today make his last-ditch pleas to Singapore's Government to spare the life of condemned drugs trafficker Nguyen Tuong Van. Mr Hulls flew out of Australia on a mercy dash to Singapore late yesterday, determined to save the Melbourne man from execution next week. Mr Hulls will also deliver a letter from Victorian Premier Steve Bracks to his counterpart in Singapore outlining Australia's opposition to the death penalty and mitigating factors in the case. His trip to Singapore came as the Federal Government desperately tried to find a legal loophole which would save the 25-year-old Melbourne man from the gallows.
